Kathryn Pruitt is a Texas Board Certified Attorney in Family Law. Since 1993, Kathryn has successfully tried numerous cases before judges and juries, including divorce, property division, custody, custody modification, termination of parental rights and enforcement cases. Before specializing in family law, Kathryn spent several years protecting the rights of defendants and victims in catastrophic personal injury cases.
Kathryn is dedicated to providing her clients with personalized, goal-oriented representation. Kathryn thoughtfully considers each client’s unique situation and strives to educate them based upon her extensive trial experience and knowledge of family law. It is her goal to work with each client to formulate productive, cost-effective strategies and maximize settlement results. In the event a settlement cannot be reached, Kathryn has the insight and perspective to be a tenacious advocate for her clients in the courtroom.
Kathryn was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2016 in the field of family law. Kathryn was also selected for inclusion in the Texas Monthly Super Lawyers—Rising Stars Edition in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and Texas Monthly Super Lawyers in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation, and the local Bar Associations of Collin, Denton and Dallas Counties. She has also written family law articles for UT CLE, the State Bar of Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association.
