David Caldwell brings to Basinger Leggett a wealth of legal experience and litigation knowledge. Client focused and efficient, David represents clients in a broad range of civil matters. As a former top criminal prosecutor with over 15 years experience, David litigated a diverse array of complex civil litigation for the State of Louisiana. During that time, he also maintained a successful private civil practice handling various general civil matters such as plaintiff’s personal injury, family law and defending business owners in employment claims.
He has taught advanced level courses on expert testimony and served as an associate professor on Tulane’s trial advocacy faculty. David is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas.
